The Immigration Professionals are required by law to work with Consultants who are members of the Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants (CSIC) and we applaud the actions of the Society and the Canadian Government in protecting an individual's rights to professional services in immigration. Our consultants have passed a number of examinations assessing their knowledge of Canada's Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, as well as its Regulations, they have been subject to history and background checks, and tested on their ability to communicate in either the English or French language. Members of CSIC are professionals authorized by the Government of Canada to be legal representatives in areas of immigration law. Their licensing allows them to represent clients in matters relating to the citizenship or immigration either directly to various Canadian Government departments, or at tribunals such as Immigration and Refugee Board.
