This category that requires applicants to have at least C$800,000 at their disposal of which C$400,000 must be invested in Canadian registered companies or Government programs.

Investors are expected to reside in Canada and will be allowed to undertake self-employment. Investor applications are fast tracked by the government and upon application to the Canadian Embassy, Consulate or High Commission will usually be resolved within a few weeks.
